Emily Tingey is a painter of modern impressionism and abstract landscapes in Henderson, Nevada (previously, and noted for its continued inspiration, Ann Arbor, Michigan). Her at-home studio, a small room inside her home with vaulted ceilings and a family of hummingbirds that nest in the bushes outside her windows. It is her calm sanctuary to recall views and emotions from her travels around the world and journey’s inward. Her hope is that you feel the warmth, calm, peace, acceptance, and joy she tries to instill in each of her paintings.
