Bursting with bright colors and feel-good vibes, a print from The Native State is like spotting a rainbow on a cloudy day. Founded in 2012 in a small box room in Edinburgh, Scotland, The Native State began with designer Frankie. When the call of the Scottish countryside became irresistible, she, her husband, and their dog Shabba relocated to her hometown near St Andrews, Fife. In 2016, with the birth of their daughter, the studio moved to a garden space where Frankie now shares a creative workspace with her graphic designer husband, Hasta Inc.
Frankie’s creative process is rooted in her mission to craft art prints filled with good intentions and positive energy, all aimed at making the world a little brighter.
