Caring for your Art

ROLLED ART PRINTS

After you receive your prints rolled in our protective tubes, handle them with care by using the corners and back to avoid touching the printed surface. Lay the prints flat and let them naturally flatten and correct any minor creases from shipping.

PRO TIP

For careful handling, use both hands to gently hold your print by its opposite corners to prevent creasing.

FRAMED ART PRINTS

We take great care in packing your prints with the highest level of protection to prevent any damage during transport. Upon receiving your framed prints, gently remove the packing materials. For optimal care, it is highly recommended to clean your hands with soap or use clean gloves before handling the artwork.

INSTRUCTIONS

The environment in which your print is displayed plays a crucial role in its protection

LIGHT

Ensure your art is kept out of direct sunlight, especially south-facing light, to prevent yellowing of your print. Note: This advice does not apply to laminated or framed prints.

HUMIDITY

Keep the relative humidity between 35% and 55% to protect your print. Excessive humidity can lead to mold or insect damage, while low humidity can cause the paper to become brittle.

Art Print Care

TEMPERATURE

Maintain a cool environment for your prints and avoid areas with extreme temperatures, like radiators or air-conditioners. Warm or moist conditions can lead to faster deterioration and encourage mold and insect issues.

POLLUTION

For the best protection, keep your prints away from dust, dirt, and pollutants. Light dust can be removed with a clean, dry cloth.
