SREENIVASA RAM MAKINEEDI
n a world that constantly looks forward, this series is a deliberate act of looking back. "The Ancestral Anchor" explores the objects that tether us to our heritage the "roots" that remain firm even as the branches of our lives grow in new directions. By painting vintage relics like the bellows camera and the lantern, I am documenting the quiet machinery of our ancestors’ lives. These objects are more than tools; they are the silent witnesses to the struggles and triumphs of those who came before us.
